Starting with the first beta release of Mortal Kombat 11, Evil Dead’s Ash Williams was said to come into the game as a DLC character. But Bruce Campbell, who plays the character in the Evil Dead movies, rejected these rumors. A new leak shows that the character will join the fighter squad. A screenshot of an email about Mortal Kombat 11 revealed that Army of Darkness Ash Williams in the Evil Dead franchise will soon come into the game as a DLC character. At the bottom of the email are the licenses and brands of all DLC characters coming to the game, including Terminator, Joker and Spawn. Ash Williams references, previously released by data miners, were removed after updates to Mortal Kombat 11. Although developer NetherRealm does not make an official statement, a new one has been added to the evidence that Ash will come to Mortal Kombat 11. In addition to Ash Williams, there is evidence that Mortal Kombat 11 has other DLC characters removed from game files. There have been references to Sheeva and Fujin in the game’s files, which may be an indication that the Kombat Pack 2 may be announced soon. There is currently no clue as to when the new Mortal Kombat 11 DLC will be announced, as major game events are canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
