Instagram is getting ready to offer “sensitive content” feature to its users While Instagram has a strict attitude towards sensitive content, restrictions may be insufficient for some users. Apparently, the social media giant is working on a new feature for those who find Instagram’s current limits insufficient. Reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong said that Instagram is working on this feature for the sensitive content limit. It is not clear what is currently classified as “sensitive content” in Instagram. However, non-secure (NSFW) or partially adult content is expected to fall into this category. Feature will be optional Wong also notes that the feature that limits sensitive content is already on by default. However, this may change when the new feature comes to the stable version. Sensitive content limitation feature can be turned off in the settings if desired. When you turn off the feature, a new window opens, asking you to confirm that you want to see sensitive content. The ‘Learn more’ link under the warning isn’t working right now. Probably continues the feature development process. Instagram has not officially announced this feature, so there is no information yet when the new feature will be available to users.
